1 Who we are

The Spojrzyj – Contact Lenses app is developed by:

This privacy policy describes how the app processes user data on Android devices.

2 Data stored locally

You can store locally:

• Opening dates and wear times of contact lenses
• Prescription parameters (sphere, cylinder, axis, BC, diameter)
• Notes and custom names for lens profiles
• Dates and details of doctor visits
• Selected colour preferences and app settings

Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored data from the device.

3 Automatically collected data

The app itself does not collect any analytics data, does not send crash reports or statistics to its own servers.

Google Play and the Android system may, however, collect anonymous data about app installations and usage in accordance with their own privacy policies. This information is not available to the app developer in an identifiable form.

4 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses the Google AdMob advertising platform to display ads. AdMob may collect and process the following data:

• Device advertising identifier (Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location (country/region)
• Device information (model, operating system, language)
• Data about interactions with ads

The free version of the app contains ads. App development is funded by these impressions.

5 System permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — to send lens replacement reminders. Android 13+ requires explicit consent.
• Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM) — to schedule notifications at a chosen time. Used exclusively for reminders.
• Boot start (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — to restore scheduled reminders after a device restart.
• Calendar access (READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR) — optionally, to add replacement dates to the system calendar. Requests consent at point of use.
• Internet (INTERNET) — required solely by Google AdMob to load ads.

No permission is used in any way other than described above. The app does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files.

6 Sharing data with third parties

The app developer does not sell, share, or transfer any of your personal data to third parties.

The only third party that may process data in connection with use of the app is Google LLC (AdMob) — as described in section 4.

7 Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:

• Right of access — view the data stored by the app (available directly in the interface).
• Right to erasure — deleting data from the app or fully uninstalling it removes all local data.
• Right to portability — data is stored locally on your device; you have full access to it.
• Right to object to profiling — you can disable personalised ads in Android system settings.

8 Data security

Because all data is stored exclusively locally on your device, its security depends on the security of the device itself (screen lock, disk encryption). The app does not introduce any additional database encryption mechanisms.

We recommend making regular backups of your device.

9 Children

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe your child is using the app, contact us — we will delete any data without undue delay.

10 Changes to the policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
